Bloomium, startup of startups


Bloomium discovered that currently less capital is needed than five years ago to undertake new businesses. On the other hand, the number of private investors has grown significantly in Spain during the last five years.


Our enterprise was created in November of 2016, so it has about 5 months life. It is a business initiative, which attempts to capture ideas or digital projects to turn them into excellent business. By investing not only capital, but also technical resources or knowledge, in the previously selected projects.
Bloomium is composed by a set of professional managers, mentors, entrepreneurs and investors, who are highly qualified and committed to the project.
It targets three market segments: entrepreneurs, corporations and investors.

Entrepreneurs are individuals who have the idea, but do not have the resources to develop it.

Corporations are big companies that are interested in startup ecosystem and want to participate in some projects they consider interesting. Be it as investments or for their innovative products or services.

Investors are individuals with resources, interested also in the world of startups and investing in profitable projects.

During the short company life, more than 250 projects have already been analyzed. Bloomium team can be classified into three distinct groups. Our mentors, whom Bloomium puts in contact with a project and can give them knowledge about certain specific aspects. Key partners such as SlashMobility, which instead of directly contributing money to a project, brings work and technical development. Investors, which directly contribute money and financing to a specific project.

Selecting projects or startups process consists in four different steps plus a zero phase of project observation:


1- Analyze the projects and their characteristics.

2- Project presentation in our Call for Entrepreneurs.

3- Begin to negotiate with the projects chosen as most interesting.

4- Invest in projects finally selected.

5- Acceleration / mentoring / follow up of the investment.
The main objective is to capitalize projects into business and turn them into successes, taking them to the highest possible level.
